There are many beautiful wedding venues in the Cincinnati area, but there’s just something about these historical wedding venues that adds a classic touch, effortless romance and timeless joy to your wedding day. Hope you enjoy this small peek into one of my favorite historical wedding venues.

Two interesting facts:
1. Glendale Lyceum is a National Historic Landmark
2. "The Lyceum is the outgrowth of a circulating Book Club that met in the Clarke Home and then the Town Hall of Glendale back in 1882. Although books have not been checked out in over 60 years, they can still be enjoyed in our library!"
Photo opportunities:
Glenwood Gardens park. Sharon Woods park. Oak Hill Cemetery. Both indoors and outdoors of the house provides a beautiful backdrop for photos. Depending on travel the day of your wedding, Cincinnati is a 30min drive for city photos.
Planning Tips

Setting up your head table or sweetheart table in the Tearoom provides an amazing fireplace/mantle backdrop for wedding photos

You can never have too many candles at your wedding! I like to line the ledge of our entire ballroom in them so that guests can enjoy a truly candlelit dinner.

The Ballroom is such a blank slate, ivory linens with wedding color complimenting napkins has such a dramatic, yet classic effect on the room. If you're a "white wedding" fan, I suggest ivory linens with a white napkin- so elegant

Yes!
We actually don't rent back to back events. That being said, we allow our couples to come in the day before their wedding to have a hand in any set up and décor that they'd like. They can also come back the following Monday to pick up any remaining items. The goal is for our couples to have the most enjoyable, stress-free day possible!
Rentals include the use of our tables, chairs, china, flatware and stemware. We also provide two options for ceiling drapery in our ballroom, an arbor, chairs/pipe and drape for ceremonies, ceremony coordination and limited décor.
